Pastor's Break - Pastor Mark will return from break on Tuesday, August 2nd. We hope this was restful break for Pastor Mark & Jonna.  We welcome them back and look forward to seeing them during this week’s activities.

Prayer Group - Our prayer group meets here at the church every Monday from 10:00AM - 12:00PM. Everyone is welcome to join us as we seek God's blessing for our church family, community and nation.

Youth Group - All children ages 12-18 are welcome to join us every Tuesday evening from 6:00PM - 7:30PM, at the church (our Youth Group will be meeting this week), for a encouraging time of fellowship, games, snacks, and Bible study. If you have any questions please see Pastor Kurtis for more details.

Baptism Class - For those wishing to be baptized at our annual Church Picnic scheduled for Sunday August 21st, there will be a mandatory baptism class offered on Sunday, August 7th, from 9:00AM - 10:00AM. This is an important step of discipleship and the commitment to serving Jesus Christ.  We encourage everyone who has not been baptized by immersion to consider this foundational step of faith by signing up for our class.

Visitation Ministry Opportunity - On Sunday, August 14th, we will have an important meeting to discuss the formation of a new visitation ministry. This ministry will be designed to encourage teams of two to visit some of our church shut-ins every month. This is a great opportunity to get involved in the lives of others through a ministry of encouragement and care. If you are interested please sign up for this meeting to find out more. Thank you!

Church Picnic - This year's church picnic will be on Sunday, August 21st, at 11:00AM at Curt Strunk's home at 448 Sweet Valley Rd., Hunlock Creek 18621. This will be a special outdoor service at Sylvan Lake and will include baptisms after the service. We will also have a special meal and time of fellowship. Please plan to attend this special service by signing up now! Please also indicate what you plan to bring for our church meal.

Knoebels - On Saturday, August 27th, LHBC will resume its annual church Knoebels trip. Free Knoebels tickets will be provided to every individual and family that signs up. We will also be having a special fellowship meal together at the pavilion at 3:00PM. When you sign up please indicate what you will bring for our meal. Thank you!

New Sign Up Sheets - We have placed new sign up sheets on the back table for weekly Scripture Readers (1) and weekly Greeters (2).  We thank everyone who has volunteered in the past and encourage everyone to consider participating in these important ministries. Thank you, in advance.
LHBC & FCC Prayer Chain - If you would like to join our prayer chain so you can be notified of prayer requests and special church updates, we ask that you sign-up at our back table by neatly providing your name and email address. Thank you 

Food and Benevolence Needs - If you, or any one you may know, is in need of assistance at this difficult time, please notify Pastor Mark for benevolence needs and Jim and Marti Callahan for food pantry needs. Thank you.

Food Pantry - We are presently looking for donations to our food pantry. If you would like to donate, we are in need of paper towels, toilet paper (Small Packages), toiletries, deodorant, shampoo and conditioner, tooth paste and tooth brushes, talc powder, laundry products, cleaning products, and cereal. If you are interested in helping out, please see either Jim or Marti.

Streaming Services - As a reminder, we are now ’Live Streaming’ our Sunday service and streaming it to both Facebook (Living Hope Bible Church) and our YouTube channel (Living Hope Bible Church Plains).
